Most of us live our life with certain expectations.

We anticipate that the LED lights up when you turn the switch. We expect our cars to go where we press the accelerator.

So when we press the pedal of our sewing machines we expect the sewing machine to work.

Sometimes we arrive at the thought of your sewing machine as a friend or one way a real person. We talk to him. We touch. We listen. Sometimes it may seem that our friend is suffering from an infection or disease. This is particularly true when we press the power and very little happens.

When you press your pedal, your sewing machine hesitate? Is groan a little? Is it turn very slowly or perhaps not at all?

If yes, then your machine may have the dreaded sewing machine motor fatigue syndrome ..

You can determine if this is your problem fairly quickly with some basic tests.

You set up your sewing machine and are ready to sew, but when you press the pedal the machine barely moves. It is as if the machine is tired of been long and difficult. No matter how you press the pedal, no matter how much power you put in, the sewing machine drags along.

The two most common sources of such a problem is the potential for a link in the mechanism of the sewing machine itself and problems in the engine.

To verify the connection, turn the steering wheel by hand and feel any resistance. If the machine is stiff, your problem may be the mechanism. If the machine moves freely, it is probably a problem with the engine.

The AC motor in your sewing machine or mounted behind the head of your machine, often accumulate debris inside. This debris may consist of carbon deposits partially burning, dust and dirt and old lubricants. Gradually, these fragments takes its toll on the engine.

You not need to be an expert on engines, how to understand the deposition of debris, it can be increasingly difficult for the engine to operate as expected. Over time, the engine loses its ability to function properly and may even fail to turn at all.

One solution to this problem is to remove the deposits made by their burning. Running the engine at full throttle for several minutes, it is often possible to exactly that.

Follow this procedure: In the center of the wheel, hand break, which causes the machine to spin when the wheel rotates. Release the steering wheel moves freely without turning the machine. Hold down the pedal power using hand or use a clamp or weight to hold. The engine should begin to turn slowly. If not turn the steering wheel while applying electricity to the motor to help the engine run. Once the engine is running, Keep running at full speed for about five minutes. Let cool and test it again.

Attend the machine until you 're okay. Beware of extreme heat, sparks or smoke from the engine.

The engine burns is often very effective burn the carbon deposits old debris and grime. Basically, you heat the engine to melt and burn the debris. In the process, you may the engine is too hot, too much smoke billowing from the engine starts, or sparks can fly. Be very careful not to let them become problematic. Stop when you feel the burn is out of control.

In some cases, the motor does not burn. The damage the engine is too broad. In such cases, you can remove the motor brushes and replace them. You can disassemble the motor housing and clean the dirt from the contact points and the frame. If you do, beware. solvent use in electrical equipment can be extremely dangerous. Before applying electricity to ensure that any engine is 100% dry and free from anything that can ignite, burn, or otherwise cause damage.

Usually, you can set the sewing machine motor fatigue syndrome with a ten minute burn engine or service.
