Recording drums can be a challenge for both mics and record. So we need a good idea on the techniques that can help us get a better result. While recording one thing should be kept in mind: if the battery is good, everything else would be quite correct. That means everything else can be fixed later and the adoption will be perfect.
Various microphone techniques actually affect the amount low, mid, treble and we hear the noise followed by a musical instrument. There are several points that must be borne in mind while deciding the microfabrication techniques. The microphone selection and placement affect the way the distant sound of the instruments in the recording and how much background noise is resumed. But there are no strict rules on where the microphones should be placed. If the microphone placement sounds good to the user while should be the correct position to use them.
There are various techniques of microphones that can be used in various environments on drums record. Let us know the detail. As in the home studio environment the most common and most effective way to get perfect sound is to use the triangle made style. This style has three microphones, so called triangle. First microphone is placed on the bass drum, and the other on either side of the kit. This method will catch us a little about the battery.
Before using the microwave technique we need to know what type of audio output, we prefer, for example if it is big and bloated and round and soft, or tight or punchy? Then, the technique will be different when capturing the sound.
If we want big sound and blistered the microphone should be placed about two inches in front of the drum head or away from the head towards the center of the drum. For a round and muffled drum should be filled with a large piece of foam. If the position of the microphone is placed so that the midpoint field is the removal of tight and punchy sound will be recorded.
But this kind of method has a drawback. A sort of weird annoyances Mid lower light, but that could be corrected during the phase of post-production. In any case, the microphone should not be placed in another direction within the drum, the sound bounces across the waves end up canceling themselves, resulting in a loss of volume and tone.
But the techniques of micro will change when the type of drum changes. The above technique can be used for the kick drum only. Adjusting the microphone to fund clear will certainly be different. To save this kind of drum we need two microphones. But just placing the microphone in front of the drum is not enough. Thus, planning is necessary to decide where the microphone should be placed. It would be a good idea to put the microwave background exactly the opposite micro top. Before recording starts just pass the microphone on and off, then a decision must be made on the parameters that provide the perfect sound.
