Ritchie is essentially pentagonal and no plastic or nylon. In fact, they are even more special because they are tortoiseshell.
They are practically a connection of a triangle whose hypotenuse flat on top of an elongated rectangle. Because of the obtuse angle at the top, recovery also has two sharp corners adjacent to the obtuse angle. The obtuse is perfectly suited for playing fast scale since it provides the most lowest possible resistance, while sliding across the strings and notes.
Thus, the acute angles are excellent side to move when you play arpeggios two strings, triplets, triplets, arpeggio, and just anything that requires more grip.
Resumes are standard equipped with a sharp peak with horns, and are also round. In fact, this peak gives you a lot of grip and is perfect for playing arpeggios, triplets, and Riffs based agreement but the big drawback is that thanks to his very acute angle so the edge of "dives" relatively deep in the interstices between ropes each time a note is played. We need more time to "get" the pick back up to line level which means that whenever you play a rapid sequence of notes, the transition from one note or a string to another note or string does not seem as common with a pickaxe pentagonal.
From the top of a pick pentagon is presented with a flat triangle, an obtuse angle which is greater than the peak is formed by two sides close to being horizontal to each other.
So if you play a fast sequence of notes, as the take nothing dive as deep as the standard pick in the interstices between the strings. He gently strokes the strings and is virtually in no time back at the rope which implies fortunately extremely smooth transition from note to note and string to string. In addition, the sides, even the recovery is slightly wider than differences between the strings.
I think the pentagon is pick a good solution for those who like to play different styles and uses a sophisticated style to play the guitar such as rapid changes between scales, arpeggios, triplets and complex. Changing to a pentagonal recovery is likely to require it used to. At least I know it was for me, but it is really worth.
It's probably also worth mentioning that these choices are very rare in Germany and at least very difficult to obtain, so most of the time it is probably more useful to have the facts for yourself.
