When it comes time for the drummer learn to take a decision on which drum kit to buy, he or she will be inundated by all sorts of information, opinions and pressures, it is not a decision that should be taken lightly. They were there for a very long time too, and owners are happy to sell. They can not sell at a discount, but it will be a fair price - a price they cost and will last for years.
Look for brand names like Drum: Pearl, Tama, Yamaha, Sonor, Gretsch, Ludwig, Premier, DW, Mapex - you can not go wrong with these brands, they are the best.
Look for brand names like cymbal: Ziljian, Sabian, Paiste, Meinl - you can not go wrong with this is the best cymbals.
Getting to this point? Go online and see what is for sale on eBay Trading Post (or their equivalents) in your region. Tell your drummer, music teacher and owner of the local store of your decision too and ask them to help you. Maybe they know a great opportunity drum kit on sale now.
